KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has discussed with his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico the issues of restoration, energy sector, and development of border infrastructure.
“I voiced the needs for engineering equipment for humanitarian demining, which are produced by Slovak companies. We count on the participation of Slovak companies in various areas of restoration of Ukraine. We discussed cooperation in the energy sector. We appreciate Slovakia’s help with the supply of electricity,” Shmyhal wrote said on the Telegram channel on Monday.
Also, according to him, the parties touched upon the situation at the border.
“It was noted that the passage of top-priority freights is carried out unhindered. We hope to conclude an intergovernmental agreement on control at common checkpoints in the near future,” Shmyhal said.
Among other things, the officials discussed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula.
