So far, 83 loans issued under state mortgage program with demand above 20,000 – Economy Ministry

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Banks have received more than 20,000 applications from potential borrowers under the eOselia (eHouse) mortgage lending program, so far they have issued 83 loans, most of them to military personnel, the Ministry of Economy reported on its website.

According to its information, 6,417 applicants have a preliminary positive decision of banks, and then they are waiting for confirmation of data, search for an apartment and preparation of documents.

The Ministry of Economy recalled that the government launched the eOselia affordable mortgage program, initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky before the war, but now it has been modernized and adapted to the needs of wartime. The ministry noted that contract military personnel, defenders of Ukraine, security forces/law enforcement officers and members of their families, as well as doctors, teachers and scientists, can become participants in the program.
