By KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Government of the Republic of Korea handed over ten Croatian-made demining machines to Ukraine as humanitarian assistance, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine has said on Friday.
“To meet Ukraine’s needs for demining equipment, the Government of the Republic of Korea, with the assistance of the Embassy, handed over 10 demining machines manufactured by the Croatian company DOK-ING to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as humanitarian assistance,” it said on Facebook.
The equipment has arrived at its destination, where it will be distributed among the State Emergency Service’s units involved in the humanitarian demining of the de-occupied territory of Ukraine.
“The Embassy expresses its sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Korea for the provided equipment and hopes for further support,” it said.
