By KYIV. Jan 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC TAS Insurance Company (TAS life, Kyiv), engaged in life insurance, will pay UAH 26.407 million in dividends, this decision was made by the company’s shareholders on December 19.
According to a company report in disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the period for paying dividends directly by the shareholder is set from January 4 to June 19 this year.
The information states that the amount of dividends per share is UAH 1,546.
The only ultimate beneficiary of TAS, according to information on its website, is Sergiy Tigipko, the largest direct shareholder is T.A.S. Overseas Investments Limited with 99.683877%.
According to the NBU, for the nine months of 2022, TAS received UAH 33.82 million of net profit, its net earned insurance premiums amounted to UAH 370.88 million, insurance payments – UAH 132.01 million.
The company’s assets at the beginning of October 2022 amounted to UAH 4.029 billion, equity – UAH 219.6 million, liabilities – UAH 3.809 billion, insurance reserves – UAH 3.636 billion.
In 2021, TAS reduced its net profit by 32.5% to UAH 27.8 million, while its net earned insurance premiums increased by 11.7% to UAH 750.72 million.
The company, which has been operating on the market since 2000, claims on its website that it serves over 350,000 clients and is "the national leader in the Ukrainian life insurance market."
TAS is part of the TAS banking group, which, in turn, is part of the financial and industrial holding TAS Group, which unites the assets of Tigipko.
