KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine included another institution in the List of phytosanitary laboratories authorized to conduct inspection, sampling and phytosanitary examination (analysis).
According to information on the ministry’s website, the State Institution Rivne Regional Phytosanitary Laboratory received such powers. Thus, the number of phytosanitary laboratories included in the corresponding list has reached ten.
“Delegation of rights to laboratories to conduct inspection, sampling and phytosanitary examination (analysis) during martial law and within 90 days from the date of its termination or cancellation is assigned to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in accordance with the law on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine to improve state regulation in the sphere handling of pesticides and agrochemicals,” the ministry recalled.
As reported, the first laboratory to receive the status of authorized to conduct phytosanitary inspections and analyzes was Baltic Control Ukraine LLC, the Ukrainian representative office of the international inspection company Baltic Control.
