Tourist tax of Ivano-Frankivsk region amounts to UAH 17.6 mln in Jan-Nov

KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The tourist tax of Ivano-Frankivsk region in January-November 2022 amounted to UAH 17.6 million, which is 73.8% more than in the same period last year.

"This is 73.8% more than in the same period last year, and 69.4% more than last year – in 2021, receipts in Carpathian region amounted to UAH 10.4 million," Vitaliy Perederko, head of the tourism department of the Department of International Cooperation, European Integration, Tourism and Investments of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, said on Facebook on Tuesday.

According to him, the largest receipts for the specified period were received by Polianytsia (UAH 9.57 million), Yaremche (UAH 3.2 million), Ivano-Frankivsk (UAH 2.38 million), Vorokhta (UAH 944,670) and Kosiv (UAH 306,200) territorial communities.

"Our Carpathian neighbors have the following revenues: Lviv region – UAH 39.8 million, and Zakarpattia region – UAH 18.9 million," Perederko added.
