KYIV. Nov 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-October of this year reduced imports of coke and semi-coke in kind by 20% compared to the same period last year, to 268,550 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service last week, coke imports in monetary terms during this period fell by 36.7% to $105.546 million.
In January-October 2023, Ukraine exported 3,324 tonnes of coke, which is 10.1% lower than the same period last year. In monetary terms, it dropped by 21.6%, to $774,000.
Exports were to Moldova (100% of supplies in monetary terms), while imports were mainly from Poland (87.60%), Colombia (9.48%) and the Czech Republic (2.12%).
