By KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In January-October of this year, Ukraine cut the export of pig iron in kind by 56.5% compared to the same period last year, to 1.15 million tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (STS), over the specified period, the export of pig iron in monetary terms dropped by 58%, to $574.184 million.
In January-October 2022, Ukraine imported 16 tonnes of pig iron for $29,000, while in January-October 2021 it imported 171 tonnes valued at $200,000.
