By KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-October of this year reduced the export of semi-finished carbon steel in kind by 70.3% compared to the same period last year, to 1.735 million tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (SCS), in monetary terms, the export of semi-finished products from carbon steel over this period fell by 68.8%, to $1.094 billion.
In addition, Ukraine imported 5,540 tonnes of such products in January-October, which is 81.4% less than in January-October 2021. In monetary terms, imports dropped by 81.6%, to $3.588 million.
