KYIV. Nov 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has informed Iran of the consequences it will face if Tehran makes and implements a decision to transfer missiles and even more drones to Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said, stressing that this threat is real.
"The threat is real, and we have informed Iran through diplomatic channels of the consequences it will face if this decision is made and implemented. We were as substantive as possible, now it’s up to the Iranian side. I have said and will repeat once again that when it comes to the complicity of any country in Russian aggression and the murder of our citizens, we will be absolutely ruthless in our actions in response, because it is about protecting our state and our citizens," Kuleba said at a press conference with the Spanish Foreign Minister in Kyiv on Wednesday, answering a question from Interfax-Ukraine.
He stressed that a wiser decision for Iran would be to completely curtail its military cooperation and the supply of Russia with any weapons that are used against Ukraine.
Earlier media reported that Iran promised to provide Russia with surface-to-surface missiles and even more attack drones in early November.
