KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The investment map of Ukraine by regions of Ukraine already has 117 projects from 14 different industries with a total investment potential of $1.8 billion, the European Business Association (EBA) has reported.
According to its press release, 117 projects were marked on the map representing investment opportunities in Ukraine in three months – 55 from businesses (47%) and 62 projects from municipalities (53%). Most projects were submitted from Kirovohrad (30 projects), Dnipropetrovsk (28) and Odesa (20) regions.
The projects represent various industries: transport and logistics, agriculture, development, fuel and energy, healthcare, heavy and light industry, tourism, waste management, etc.
The investment map was launched by the EBA together with Global Business for Ukraine and UkraineInvest.
“Ukraine has tremendous potential. With the help of this Investment Map, we want to tell global businesses about these opportunities. For those interested, the map is a useful practical tool,” the press service quoted EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko as saying.
