KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The shareholders of PrJSC Ukrainian Agro-Insurance Company (Kyiv) decided to increase the charter capital by 16.3% – to UAH 32 million through an additional issue of shares in the amount of UAH 4.473 million.
The company reported this in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine.
As noted, funds raised from the placement of shares will be placed in eligible assets in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on mandatory criteria and standards for capital adequacy and solvency, liquidity, profitability, asset quality and riskiness of the insurer’s operations, namely on bank deposits – 90%, in government bonds of Ukraine and/or other securities – 10%.
Ukrainian Agro-Insurance Company has been operating in the country’s market since 1995.
According to its data, 84.75% of the charter capital belongs to the Dobrobut agricultural company, 5.5% to Firm Astarta-Kyiv LLC, 9.75% to IPK Poltavazernoprodukt LLC.
