KYIV. Sept 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Sunday, September 3, the evening maximum consumption was 6.7% lower than previous Sunday, August 27, and 2.3% less than on Friday, September 1, NPC Ukrenergo reported.
According to the company’s update on the Telegram channel on Monday, this is due both to the seasonal drop in temperature and to more distributed consumption during the day on weekends.
In addition, it is reported that last Sunday the repair teams of Ukrenergo returned to operation two high-voltage lines in the east of the country, damaged as a result of Russian shelling. This made it possible to resume the supply of electricity to the grid from one of the power plants in the region.
According to Ukrenergo, due to hostilities, bad weather and other reasons, 431 settlements remain without electricity.
