Ukrgazvydobuvannia reduces gas production by 3% in 2022

KYIV. Jan 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia, 100% of whose shares are owned by NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2022, which is 3% less than in 2021.

"Despite the destruction and occupation of part of the production facilities in the east of the country, Ukrgazvydobuvannia maintained stable natural gas production in 2022: 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced, which is only 3% less than in 2021," the company said on its website.

At the same time, it is noted that such a result became possible in conditions when hundreds of production facilities and pieces of equipment were shelled, many deposits and hundreds of wells of the company were or are still under occupation or near the front line.

"I would like to express my boundless gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to live and work, they first held back the enemy, and then began step by step to drive him out of our land. There are hundreds of our colleagues among the military. And I am no less grateful to the employees of Ukrgazvydobuvannia, who all this time in the fields or offices continued to do their difficult and often dangerous work," general director of the company Oleksandr Romaniuk said.
