KYIV. Jan 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Ukrhydroenergo has fully fulfilled its special obligations to provide electricity to the population (PSO) for 2023 in the amount of almost UAH 24 billion, which is UAH 3 billion more than the 2022 figure.
“We have fully fulfilled our PSO obligations for 2023. Compared to 2022, PSO has increased by UAH 3 billion. We continue to cover the difference in tariffs for household consumers, despite the fact that PSO has a significant financial burden on us,” Ukrhydroenergo CEO Ihor Syrota said, whose words are given in the company’s report on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.
The company said that Ukrhydroenergo reconciled data on the implementation of PSO in 2023 with the state-owned enterprise Guaranteed Buyer, which issued invoices for UAH 23.667 billion last year.
Since the beginning of 2024, the company has already sold electricity under the PSO for more than UAH 2 billion.
