KYIV. Oct 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), with the support of the Swiss Red Cross, continues to implement a project to install mobile shelters in Kherson region.
“Today, another three more shelters from the Ukrainian Red Cross have been installed in Kherson region … mobile reinforced concrete structures were delivered to the villages of Chornobayivka, Stanyslav and the village of Bilozerka. Shelters have been installed near outpatient clinics and crowded places,” URCS reported on Facebook on Thursday.
Next week it is planned to deliver two more shelters for the needs of the Daryivska merged community.
In total, as part of the project, it is planned to deliver and install 13 more mobile shelters by the end of this year.
URCS recalled that in July, in cooperation with the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, 10 mobile shelters were installed in Kherson and Beryslav districts of Kherson region in settlements located along the Dnipro River. The area of each shelter is 10 m2, they can accommodate from 10 to 15 people at the same time.
