Variant Agro Bud resumes production in Kherson region

KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The leading Ukrainian manufacturer of sprinkler equipment Variant Agro Bud (the Variant Irrigation brand, Kharkiv) resumes work in the part of Kherson region de-occupied from Russian invaders, the company’s Facebook page reports.

At the same time, it is also specified that a new office will soon open in Kherson, which will carry out equipment sales and customer service, and repairs and services will be provided not only for Variant Irrigation’s own sprinkler equipment, but also for other Ukrainian and international brands.

"This year we helped solve problems with irrigation equipment not only of our production. Thanks to production sites and several warehouses in Ukraine, we were able to provide prompt repairs and replacement of components for many farms, which, due to interruptions in imports and difficulties in the work of foreign companies, found themselves in a difficult situation," commercial director Illia Zhemelinsky said.

In addition to sprinkler equipment, office clients will be able to order a set of works for the launch of a pumping station, laying main pipelines, welding plastic pipelines and other services.

"Kherson is Ukraine! We are looking forward to the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the possibility of resuming the work of the Melitopol office as well," the company added.

Variant Irrigation is the Ukrainian irrigation market leader in terms of the number of supplied wide sprinklers. Irrigation equipment began to be produced in 2016.

The Variant group of companies, which includes 12 enterprises (including 10 metalworking), is a family business, whose founder Said Shufani runs the group along with his sons.

In April 2021, KMZ Industries and Variant Agro Build (which included the elevator and irrigation lines) signed an agreement to merge the Variant Agro Bud elevator line with PrJSC Karlivka Machine Building Plant.
