Velta Group pays UAH 140 mln in taxes and fees in 2022 – group president

KYIV. Jan 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Velta group of companies with assets for the extraction of titanium-containing ores in Novomyrhorod (Kirovohrad region) paid a total of UAH 140 million in taxes and fees in 2022, the company’s president Andriy Brodsky said on Facebook on Wednesday.

"In 2022, the year of the war, Velta paid UAH 140 million in taxes as a group of companies, which is significantly more than in 2021. In total, since the start of work in 2012, Velta has paid about UAH 700 million to the state! And this taking into account the fact that we did not privatize anything, but built our enterprise from scratch!" the top manager said on his page on the social network.

At the same time, he said that over the past year, these are the two most important indicators: support for the army and support for the country’s economy.

Production-Commercial Company Velta LLC was registered in April 2000. The main activity is the extraction and production of ilmenite concentrate. Since 2012, it has been mining and processing titanium raw materials at the Birzulovske deposit (Kirovohrad region).

In addition, the company owns a license for the commercial development of the Likarivske ilmenite deposit.

Velta has repeatedly announced plans to build a vertically interned group from the extraction of raw materials to the production of finished titanium products.

Velta Holding LLC owns 100% of Production-Commercial Company Velta LLC. The ultimate beneficiaries are three individuals: Andriy Brodsky (60%), Vadym Moskalenko (20%) and Vitaliy Malakhov (20%).
