By KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine plans to introduce a subsidiary IT company SmartFlex into a special legal and tax regime Diia City in the first quarter of 2023.
"We have an IT company – SmartFlex…, and we will transfer it to Diia City. This decision has already been made, but SAP [management system] needs to be finalized, because we are a big company, and we it is necessary to consolidate everything somehow," Olha Ustynova, CEO of Vodafone Ukraine, said during the panel "How Ukraine is changing digital world" at the Kyiv International Economic Forum on Thursday.
Ustynova noted that it is not very convenient when subsidiaries operate under different tax systems.
"But already in the first quarter [of 2023] SmartFlex will enter Diia City," she said.
IT SmartFlex is an IT product company founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of the leading Ukrainian mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine with the aim of bringing together experts in the fields of telecommunications and software.
