By KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking via video link at a meeting of the European Council in Brussels, invited all European defense companies to come to Ukraine for the joint development of the military industry.
The head of state thanked the leaders and governments of European states for each of the defense packages provided to Ukraine, including weapons, equipment, shells and air defense.
“Stable arms supplies for Ukraine mean sustainable security for all of Europe – for each of our neighbors,” he said.
As Zelenskyy emphasized, he is “especially grateful for the new page in defense cooperation with European states, in particular for the development of the military industry in Ukraine and together with Ukraine.”
“Many European defense companies have joined us. I invite all European defense companies to come to Ukraine and adopt our experience in order to increase it. This is exactly the kind of cooperation that will make us all stronger for many generations,” he noted.
