KYIV. May 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Friday President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held meetings on moving towards NATO and new sanctions.
“Today I also held a meeting with international affairs officials regarding our movement to NATO, a more conceptual one. We must use, and we use, every opportunity this and next month, this year as a whole, to fill our relations with the Alliance with real political content,” the president said in a video address on Friday.
“We are preparing several international appeals to increase support for our state and our struggle for freedom – support both among our traditional allies and partners, and in the countries of the Global South,” Zelenskyy said.
According to the president, he also “held a meeting on new sanctions – against those who contribute to Russian aggression.”
