Number of casualties of missile attacks in Lviv increases to 30 – Emergency Service

LVIV. Dec 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of people injured as a result of missile attack on a residential area in Lviv has increased to 30 people, the press service of the main department of the State Emergency Service in Lviv region said. Previously, rescuers reported 24 victims.

As reported, one person died as a result of the shelling – famous basketball player and coach Viktor Kobzysty.

According to the City Council, one of the victims diagnosed with a broken arm underwent surgery.

As reported, this morning Russian troops shelled Lviv. One of the missiles fell into a courtyard between several residential buildings and two schools and a kindergarten. Damage was recorded in more than 15 households – glass and doors were broken.

The authorities of Lviv have allocated UAH 35 million to remove the consequences of the missile attack.
