Funding for healthcare sector to be increased by UAH 24 bln in 2024 – Radutsky

KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Funding for the healthcare sector will be increased by UAH 24 billion in 2024, head of the parliamentary committee of the nation’s health, medical care and medical insurance Mykhailo Radutsky has said.

“According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they plan to add UAH 24 billion to the current funding next year,” Radutsky wrote on the Telegram channel.

Radutsky did not specify what the additional resources would be used for.

As reported, the state budget for 2023 provided for a reduction in budget funding for the Ukrainian healthcare system in 2023 by 9.55% compared to 2022, to UAH 142 billion.
