KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As of September 14, three transformer substations in Kherson have resumed operation and powered more than 400 consumers that were disconnected after flooding.
“About 7,500 consumers remain without power in the city. Energy workers are working to restore power supply, but repair work has been slowed down due to shelling,” the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy said on Thursday.
The terror of the occupiers in the front-line and border regions with Russia continues. In Donetsk region, due to damage to a 110 kV overhead power line, electricity generation at one of the generation facilities was limited. Less than an hour later, the line was restored and the restrictions were lifted. Also in the region, due to the fighting, about 12,000 consumers in nine settlements lost power. Most subscribers were powered by the end of the day.
Due to enemy artillery shelling, about 100 subscribers near Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region) also lost power. Now everyone has power.
“Some of the consumers in Zaporozhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair teams work where the security situation allows,” the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Energy, commercial imports of electricity over the past 24 hours reached 525 MWh, while exports to Slovakia totaled 2,360 MWh, and Moldova 1,898 MWh.
