By KYIV. Oct 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 1,648 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression: as of the morning of October 26, 2023, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 509 children were killed and over 1,139 were injured of varying degrees of severity.
These numbers are not final. Work continues on their installation in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the Prosecutor General’s Office said in Telegram.
On October 25, a 13-year-old boy was killed as a result of enemy shelling in the town of Beryslav, Kherson region.
The most affected children were in Donetsk region some 492, Kharkiv region some 304, Kherson region some 132, Kyiv region some 129, Zaporizhia region some 99, Mykolaiv region some 97, Dnipropetrovsk region some 96, Chernihiv region some 72, Luhansk region some 67.
