Zaluzhny, Commander of US Armed Forces in Europe, Chief of UK Defense Staff discuss situation on battlefield, AFU’s needs

KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and strengthening Ukrainian air defense with Supreme Allied Commander of NATO Armed Forces Europe, Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe Christopher Cavoli and Chief of the UK Defense Staff Tony Radakin.

“During the negotiations, he spoke in detail about the situation on the battlefield. We discussed our offensive and defensive operations, the situation in the most difficult directions, as well as the actions and possible plans of the enemy,” Zaluzhny wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

“We focused on the current needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for shells, drones and military equipment. We especially discussed the key issues of strengthening our air defense and covering critical infrastructure facilities in the autumn-winter period,” added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanking the allies for their unwavering support and assistance.
