Govt allocates UAH 2.5 bln of compensation for destroyed real estate

KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 2.5 billion to provide compensation for real estate objects destroyed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk reported on Telegram that at a government meeting on Friday it was decided to allocate UAH 2.5 billion from the fund for liquidating the consequences of armed aggression to the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development and Infrastructure of Ukraine for a new budget program to provide compensation for destroyed real estate objects and UAH 1.5 billion for the budget program “Providing compensation for the restoration of certain categories of real estate damaged as a result of hostilities, terrorist acts, sabotage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” using the electronic public service eRecovery.

The decision stipulates that the Ministry of Development is the main manager of state budget funds and the responsible executor of the new budget program.
