KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed with U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg the involvement of American business in the restoration of Ukraine through public-private partnership projects.
“Ukraine is interested in attracting American business to reconstruction projects. In particular, through public-private partnership projects,” Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel on Wednesday following the meeting.
As the Ukrainian Prime Minister noted, “the construction of infrastructure facilities can become a promising direction for the growth of the Ukrainian economy. Another key area is logistics. We are working on expanding export opportunities. We also expect American business to be interested in investing in this industry.”
Also, according to him, together with partners, Ukraine is looking for mechanisms to insure military risks.
