KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, announced news from Crimea in the near future, where the enemy Askold missile carrier has been recently damaged by Ukrainian forces.
Speaking about the operation in Kerch, as a result of which the Askold missile carrier was damaged, Yusov said that such things should not be commented on now.
“Because now preparations are underway in parallel for a number of similar operations. There are still enough carriers of Calibers in the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. We should not rejoice at a single Askold. I am convinced that there will be news in the near future,” Yusov said on the Espresso TV channel.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine “uses different motivations to communicate with the enemy – ideological and mercantile, among others.”
Earlier, the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces damaged the Russian Askold missile carrier as a result of the destruction of the sea and port infrastructure of the Kerch Gulf plant.
The Crimean Wind telegram channel claims that the coordinates of the Askold’s location were leaked by commander of the small rocket ship Ingushetia of the 41st brigade of missile ships and boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy A. Ermolenko, a native Crimean from Sevastopol.
