Lithuania ready to send advisers to Ukraine for reforms – Defense Minister Anusauskas

KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Lithuania is ready to provide Ukraine with advisers who will help implement reforms and fight corruption, Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anusauskas spoke about this during a meeting with Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in Kyiv.

“The experience of Lithuanian specialists in creating procurement agencies – weapons and non-lethal products is important to us. A team from the Ministry of Defense is now working on the full launch of such agencies,” noted Umerov.

He also expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian minister for his willingness to support Ukraine and help with specialists and expertise.
