KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and British National Security Adviser Tim Barrow discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state reports.
“In pursuance of the instructions of the head of state, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, had a telephone conversation with the adviser to the British Prime Minister on national security issues, Timothy Barrow,” reads a report on the official website of the president of Ukraine on Saturday morning.
The parties discussed the results of the third meeting of national security and political advisers in Malta on the implementation of the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and progress in preparation for the Global Peace Summit.
Yermak and Barrow also exchanged views on the security situation in the region, in particular the state of affairs on the battlefield and the needs of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Separately, the parties focused on the situation in the Middle East. The need to ensure the operation of humanitarian corridors and avoid casualties among civilians was noted.
Yermak thanked the British government and the entire British people for the continued strong support of the Ukrainian people in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
