KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A local resident was injured in Seredyna-Buda, Shostka district, Sumy region, as a result of a mortar shelling attack from the territory of Russia, Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office has said.
“According to the investigation, on November 15, 2023, at around 12:00, the occupiers shelled Seredyna-Buda, Shostka district, using a mortar, which is an internationally prohibited warfare. As a result of the attack, a power line was broken, facades of private houses were damaged by mine fragments, and a 48-year-old local resident was injured,” it said on Wednesday.
A pre-trial investigation is held under the procedural guidance of Shostka District Prosecutor’s Office under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
