Russian forces fire air strikes against navigation corridor for civil vessels twice in past 24 hours – South Defense Forces

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces continue to terrorize civilian shipping, according to the press service of the South Defense Forces Command.

“In the past 24 hours, [the enemy] fired two air strikes against the navigation corridor, using four unidentified aircraft weapons, reportedly naval mines,” it said on the Telegram channel on Friday.

There are three enemy warships in the sea, including two in the Black Sea and one in the Sea of Azov, while its missile carriers are at the points of deployment.

One Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drone was destroyed in Mykolaiv region las night, the press service said.

Eleven FPV drones attacked the frontline territories last night. The enemy also dropped 39 fragmentation shells from various unmanned aerial vehicles on settlements in the coastline area of Kherson region. A civilian resident of Beryslav who was killed during one of such attacks while riding a bicycle.

In the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled settlements in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions 20 times. As a result of shelling, three civilians were killed and nine people, including two children, were injured. Also, a multi-apartment building, around 60 private houses, a kindergarten, cars, and gas pipeline were damaged.

The defense forces continue to hold the positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, as well as wage counterbattery fight, attack enemy positions and targets in the rear.
