KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine announces the third selection of projects, the financing of which can be made using funds from the subvention within the framework of the financial agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB) Ukraine Recovery Programme.
As the press service of the ministry reported, until December 20, 2023 inclusive, project proposals can be submitted by local governments, local executive authorities and executive bodies of rural, town, and city councils of territorial communities.
Only one object can be submitted from the community, which is not approved for financing from other sources of financing.
The projects are selected in the following areas: construction, reconstruction or major repairs of public buildings; construction, reconstruction, overhaul of critical infrastructure; construction, reconstruction, major repairs of buildings to provide housing for internally displaced persons and persons who lost it as a result of hostilities caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
As reported, in the summer of 2021, the Financial Agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank Ukraine Recovery Programme was ratified, according to which it is planned to attract EUR 340 million for projects to restore social infrastructure, housing and communal services, etc. in regions affected by the military conflict (controlled by the government of Ukraine), as well as in those that have experienced the greatest burden due to a significant influx of internally displaced persons.
