Zelenskyy believes there will be no challenges to Ukraine’s support from Netherlands in near future

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that no negative challenges in the issue of support for Ukraine from the Netherlands are expected in the near future after the victory of the far-right Freedom Party there.

“As for the Netherlands: I ask you not to be shocked. I think we are on good terms. The status of our relations today also continues and is supported by the Prime Minister [of the Netherlands] .I am confident in Rutte. I think ‘that there will be no calls in the near future,” he said at a press conference with the President of Latvia in Kyiv.

As reported, in the early parliamentary elections in the Netherlands, according to preliminary exit polls, the far-right PVV (Freedom Party) won. Its leader Geert Wilders is a supporter of supporting Russia and reducing aid to Ukraine. The official results will be announced by the Dutch Electoral Council at 10.00 on December 1.
