Another 180 MW TPP unit connected to power grid after scheduled repairs – Ministry of Energy

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A unit of one of the thermal power plants, which will add up to 180 MW of power to the energy system, has completed scheduled repairs, the Ministry of Energy reported.

At the same time, in its update on the situation in the energy system, the Ministry of Energy notes that at night, as a result of difficult weather conditions, due to the fall of an external object, the hydraulic units at one of the hydroelectric power plants were briefly turned off, but everything was already in operation, and the situation itself did not affect the stability of the power supply.

At the same time, due to shelling, the building of a mine in Donetsk region was partially destroyed, and four workers of the enterprise were trapped under the rubble. As the Ministry of Energy notes, three women received mechanical injuries of mild to moderate severity, and another suffered serious injuries.

Also, during shelling in Donetsk region, a line service engineer, while performing his official duties, received shrapnel wounds.

There is also damage to the gas transmission system as a result of shelling by Russian terrorists. Thus, in Mykolaiv region, gas supply was stopped for more than 100 consumers, the inlet gas pipeline in Sumy region and the distribution gas pipeline in Dnipropetrovsk region were damaged. Repair work is ongoing.
