KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine will become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance when all allies come to an appropriate consensus, U.S. President Joseph Biden said.
He said at a joint press conference with Zelenskyy in Washington on Tuesday evening, answering a question about the timing of Ukraine’s admission to NATO, that he is very proud of how strong and united the Alliance is. According to him, Ukraine has a future in NATO and he has no doubt about it. However, Biden noted that Ukraine would become a member when all the allies come to a consensus, and then they will be ready to accept Ukraine into NATO.
