Germany, via KfW, allocates EUR 50 mln for state program '5-7-9%'

KYIV. Dec 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The German State Development Bank (KfW) on Thursday provided Ukraine with EUR 50 million on a non-repayable basis to refinance expenses under the state program Affordable Loans 5-7-9%, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reports.

“Financial assistance from KfW allows us to continue to provide Ukrainian business with affordable financing, which, in turn, will contribute to its development, the creation of new jobs and the growth of the country’s economy in conditions of a full-scale war,” Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.

As reported, Marchenko on November 30 signed a grant agreement with the German state development bank (KfW) for EUR 50 million to compensate for the costs of interest rates for small and medium-sized businesses under the state program Affordable Loans 5-7-9%.
