By KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft two-year cooperation agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization for 2024-2025.
As Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on Telegram, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.
It is noted that the signing of the agreement will allow: to expand the population’s access to quality healthcare services; develop and implement a health financing reform strategy to achieve progress towards universal health coverage; improve access to essential medicines, vaccines, diagnostics and equipment; and strengthen the state’s preparedness capacity for emergency situations.
