KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said that the extension of the agreement between the European Union (EU) and Ukraine on the carriage of freight by road and trade concessions for Ukraine, as well as the speedy signing of the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA) is among the tasks for 2024.
“We continue integration into the single European market. The Ukrainian energy grid has already completely merged with the European one. Among the tasks for 2024 is the continuation of the transportation agreement and trade concessions, as well as the speedy signing of ACAA. We are introducing EU acts regarding joining the EU’s roaming area,” Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel following the meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.
According to the prime minister, the government understands how to implement these tasks.
“We have everything: expertise, teams, and resources. And most importantly, we have the will of all of Ukraine,” he concluded.
