UNGA condemns Russia for serious human rights violations in temporarily occupied territories

KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The UN General Assembly (UNGA) has updated a resolution condemning the Russian Federation for serious human rights violations in the temporarily occupied territories, in particular the forced deportation of children. This was announced by head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

“I welcome the updated UNGA resolution condemning Russia’s grave human rights violations, notably urging it to cease forcible deportations and ensure a safe return of all Ukrainian children and civilian hostages. These are some of the most heinous crimes and they must be stopped,” he wrote on the social network X (Twitter) on the night of December 20.
