Zelensky: Biden helps us more, but there was no full-scale invasion during Trump's presidency

KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that a number of messages voiced during the U.S. election campaign worry him, but still he keeps faith in bipartisan support for Ukraine.

"There are messages that worry us. They are political, because they are voiced during the electoral process – regarding the decline in support for Ukraine. I believe that these are pre-election steps. There is bipartisan support, and it remains. Of course, if the political atmosphere is overwhelmed, something may change," he said in an interview with Italian publication Corriere della Sera, published on Thursday.

Asked about possible victory of Donald Trump in the U.S. elections, Zelensky said: "In any case, this is the choice of the people. [U.S. President Joseph] Biden helps us more, but at the same time I cannot blame Trump, because there was no full-scale invasion during his presidency. I don’t know how he would react."
