KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procedure for providing funds for the development of industrial parks and the construction of infrastructure facilities necessary for their operation, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Today, we have two decisions on the agenda that will allow launching industrial parks in Ukraine in the form in which they have brought success in many countries. We are approving the procedure for providing funds for the development of industrial parks and the construction of infrastructure facilities necessary for their operation," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
According to the procedure, the upper limit for the amount is UAH 60 million, provided that this is not more than 80% of the project.
In addition, the government approved the procedure for providing compensation for the interest rate on loans that are attracted for the arrangement of industrial parks, as well as for economic activities within them.
"For a company equipping an industrial park, the largest compensation will be UAH 60 million, for participants – UAH 45 million. All these funds will allow dozens of businesses across the country to activate production and create new jobs in the near future," the prime minister said.
