KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft memorandum of understanding between Ukraine and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on financing public-private partnership projects, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"We will approve a draft memorandum of understanding between the government of Ukraine and the International Finance Corporation, which is part of the World Bank Group," he said at a government meeting on Friday.
According to Shmyhal, this memorandum will allow jointly identifying and working on financing public-private partnership projects in various sectors of the economy.
"It applies to projects in the energy sector, infrastructure, and other industries. These are additional investments, opportunities for private business, new jobs and a stronger Ukrainian economy," the prime minister said.
