USA allocates $275 mln to Ukraine as part of another military aid package – Pentagon

KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Washington has decided to allocate another tranche of security assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $275 million, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said on Friday.

Today, the department announces the approval of the 24th Presidential Assistance Package of $275 million to meet Ukraine’s security and defense needs, Singh said at a briefing.

According to her, this tranche of assistance includes funds for the purchase of additional ammunition for HIMARS missile systems, 500 high-precision 155-mm artillery shells, more than 1,300 anti-tank systems, 125 army SUVs and four satellite dishes.

In total, since the beginning of the administration of President Joe Biden, the United States has provided more than $18.5 billion in military assistance to Ukraine.
