By KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that it is difficult for him today to say "who or what Putin is."
"It’s hard for me to say "who or what Putin is." Putin is a circle of people, this is the military-political leadership under the Putin brand name, who are taking aggressive steps to destroy the nation," he said during a conversation with students and teachers at Yale University.
"We are not ready to talk in general with this regime," the president said, noting that this regime shows disrespect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"Disrespect is manifested simply. The military are on the territory of our state," Zelensky said.
According to him, this regime is now choosing "for its society how long this society will be isolated after the war – 10, 20 or 100 years. When your hands are in blood, no one wants to shake it."
