KYIV. Oct 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking about the morning rocket attack on the Ukrainian infrastructure, said that the build-up of Russia’s aggression deserves a tough reaction from the whole world at the level of international organizations and states.
"Only in the morning of this day, 50 Russian missiles were fired [at Ukraine] … Every day Russia escalates the situation. Such an increase in its aggression deserves a harsh reaction from the whole world – both at the national level and at the level of international organizations and States. Russia has no place in the G20, the UN and other structures that were created to protect peace and cooperation between nations," Zelensky said at a briefing with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala in Kyiv.
According to him, it has already become obvious that the Russian Federation cynically exploits all these structures to cover up its crimes.
"A war criminal must be held accountable for what he has done," he said.
Zelensky also noted that the Czech Prime Minister, who arrived in Kyiv on a visit, had time to see firsthand that it is the Ukrainian population that suffers most from Russian terror.
He thanked Fiala for the visit, as well as for the assistance already provided by the Czech Republic and the willingness to strengthen support for Ukraine in order to overcome the consequences of Russian terror and increase pressure on the Russian Federation.
