KYIV. Nov 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia is resuming the implementation of an agreement on the export of agricultural products from the ports of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry, due to the participation of the UN and Turkey, written guarantees have been received from Ukraine that the "grain corridor" will not be used by Kyiv to conduct military operations against Russia.
"Russia considers that the guarantees received at the moment seem sufficient and resumes the implementation of the agreement – the Initiative for the Safe Transportation of Grain and Food from the Ports of Ukraine (the Black Sea Initiative)," the Russian Defense Ministry said in the statement.
