KYIV. Nov 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Potentially, the Russians are ready for another "act of goodwill" in the area of Kherson, said Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
"Their [Russians’] habit of ‘acts of goodwill’ has long been known to us. So, there was an ‘act of goodwill’ when they liberated the territory of Kyiv region, then – Sumy and Chernihiv thanks to the decisive actions of the security and defense sector. Then there was Snake Island – another ‘act of goodwill’. I think that, potentially, they are ready for another ‘act of goodwill’ regarding the left bank of Dnipro, just in the area of the city of Kherson, Kherson region. But for this, they will still have to lose some of their potential thanks to the appropriate actions of our Armed Forces," Reznikov said at the Ukraine Media Center in Odesa on Friday.
The minister added that the weather slows down the movement of Ukrainian troops in Kherson direction.
"When the heavens turn on the rain regime, we also depend on it. The agricultural region of Kherson region has many irrigation systems, channels that the enemies use as artificial trenches, because it slows down the movement of our troops a little," Reznikov explained.
