Russian invaders launch three missile, ten air strikes against Ukraine in past 24 hours – AFU General Staff

KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces launched three missile and ten air strikes against the territory of Ukraine in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said.

Residential areas in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions suffered from these attacks, it said.

"The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily occupied territories, is concentrating its efforts on deterring the actions of the Ukrainian defense forces in certain directions. It is conducting offensive operations in Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlovske directions," the General Staff said.

The enemy shelled units of the Ukrainian defense forces along the contact line, fortified the lines in certain directions and conducted aerial reconnaissance.

"The enemy continues to attack critical infrastructure and civilian dwellings, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of warfare. The enemy launched three missile and ten air strikes," the General Staff said.
